DIY Under Eye Roller: Naturally Prevent Dark Circles & Wrinkles

This under eye roller blend is designed to fight dark circles, prevent premature aging, and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. I handpicked each oil for its own reason, making it a perfect combination for firm and glowing skin!
While this is my second time refilling this blend, I really think it does the job! I typically use it a few times a week at night, although ideally I'd like to get into the habit of using it every night. You can also use it the morning if you'd like, but I tend to stick to using it at night simply because I don't like the oiliness during the day. Either way, it's totally up to you!
There are SO many products on the market that are geared for anti-aging, however most of them are self-proclaimed miracles that are riddled with toxins, all with a high price tag. Why not use the 'magic' of plants and include essential oils in your skin routine? In this day and age, that magic is backed up by science, so you can be sure these oils will do the trick, without the catch of artificial ingredients.
Lavender is my go-to oil in general, but as far as skin goes, it helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles! It contains antioxidants, meaning it will help protect you from free radicals (AKA, what causes aging).
Frankincense is a no-brainer. It has been well documented that frankincense will help lighten hyper pigmentation, like dark circles, and help lift and tighten skin. Win-win!
Geranium not only decreases puffiness and dark circles, it keeps those wrinkles in check too. It has an astringent effect that causes the skin to tighten and contract. (Side note-it's also great for combating acne!)
I must admit, ylang ylang was not one of my favorite smelling oils when I began dipping into the essential oil world. It has a strong floral smell that can overtake you at first. But, after learning about its benefits such as regenerating skin cells and smoothing out fine lines, I've been incorporating it into recipes ever since. It has definitely grown on me! Ylang ylang improves elasticity, making it a good choice for preventing signs of aging.
I've talked about jojoba oil before (like in my DIY glowing face serum recipe), but it really is my favorite carrier oil! It truly moisturizes my skin and makes it feel like I received a spa treatment. Jojoba oil contains Vitamin E and B and is extremely gentle. I recommend using organic, cold-pressed jojoba oil like this one because it has the most antioxidants and nutrients.
